Recording of lectures

duration of lectures – according to the program

1. speakers may record their lecture with the help of technical support – recommended option

  • presentations will be recorded between September 17-19, 2020 and September 28-30, 2020 – the exact date and time of recording will be arranged with each speaker separately
  • technical support will be in direct contact with the speakers during filming
  • if the organizer will record the lecture, to ensure maximum quality of the transmission, we recommend that speakers be near the router if on a wireless connection

2. speakers may record their own lectures in which case the following technical conditions must be met:

Technical support

to make arrangements regarding the appropriate software for recording the presentation, we kindly ask the speakers to please contact the organizer in advance at: danijela@conventuscredo.hr

Camera quality

every laptop made after 2018 has a high-quality camera that will ensure maximum quality of video material

Adjust the Frame

  • to ensure a professional look during your online conference, you need to use proper camera framing
  • make sure the camera is at eye-level
  • make sure to position your face in the center of the frame
  • your entire head should be visible in the frame
  • look directly into your camera, not your screen
  • don’t use headphones, air pods or headsets

Background

  • the background must be single-colored white wall without windows, furniture or decorations
  • it is highly recommended that you do not sit in a high-backed chair that is visible to the camera as it may distract the viewer

Lighting

  • there should be as much light in the room as possible when recording with a camera
  • do not have the sun or the light hitting your camera directly, backlight changes camera focus resulting that the person and room remains in the shadow

3. Speakers may record an audio version of their presentations (without a video feed of the speaker) directly in PowerPoint (more detailed instructions are available HERE). In that case, the speakers are kindly asked to send their photo, which will be featured along with the presentation

4. Speakers can hold their presentation live in their allotted program spot. In that case, a preliminary technical check is mandatory, which will be carried out by the organizer in cooperation with the speaker.

IMPORTANT: regardless of the method of presentation, speakers should participate in the entire section during which they will hold a lecture and participate in a live discussion at the end of the session.
